Hello, Mike. If you are referring to the chime that sounds when cooking is complete on the LG 0.9 cu. Ft. NeoChef™ Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter, Model # MSER0990S, there is no setting on the microwave's control panel to turn it off. The chime will sound and END appears in the display window and remains in the display and the chime repeats every minute until the door is opened, or any button is pressed...^Ivan.
