• There is no way to turn off the tones. After cooking process is done, it will beep 4x and continue beeping about every 30 secs. You just need to hit cancel/stop button or open the door to stop any further beeping.

• Yes, open the microwave door and the beeping stops and remains off even when you re-close the door.

• Some models do offer to adjust the sound. The manual of this unit does not mention the option, nor do I see it in the control panel. Sorry for the inconvenience.
