“I brought this home before reading the reviews. It's still in the box. Almost all of the reviews (positive and negative) complain about the visibility of the control panel. What can I do to alleviate that problem? Need to know before I open the box. Thx.”

I feel your pain. I just left an unfavorable review about this exact problem. Too late for me though.

The control panel is no better or worse than any other microwave I've had in the past.

HUM TO ME IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. EVERYTHING MAKES SOME KIND OF NOISE . WHAT COUNTS IS HOW IT WORKS AND LOOKS AND HOW EASY IT IS TO USE AND CLEAN. ALL A A+ I LOVE MINE.

I keep a small flashlight in the kitchen which works fine when I need to read unfamiliar buttons. But after a week I knew where the functions I use most were located, so I usually don't need the light.

i used labels and cut out small pieces and wrote visible numbers on them and pasted them on top of the invisible ones on the control panel
