My unit is running on a 15 amp breaker that is tied to 4 other outlets. I have yet to pop a breaker and we use it pretty much every day.

I have not run into power problem such as my circuit breaker tripping with this LG 1.5 Cu. Microwave oven. My previous unit by Sharp frequently tripped the breaker when used with a toaster that shares the same breaker.
