Yes. Follow the instructions to take off the blower cover on the top, take out the two screws that hold the blower in place in the rear and rotate the blower so it is aiming up. Knock out the appropriate plates, mount the plate, put the two blower screws back in (in the rear) and replace the vent. There is an adapter piece that comes with the new units - this should help connect to the vent going to the outside.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this unit can be outside vented from the top or the rear of the case. You remove one of 2 covers if you want to vent outside. You must cut a 3"x10" hole in the wall (rear vent) or cabinet (top vent) to vent this way. You can then convert to a 3" or 4" round vent hose if desired. The default vent is out the top front of unit into the kitchen. No modification necessary.
