“Can I put my metal temp gage inside this microwave on air fryer mode. To check the inside temperature. Or can I manually put in a temputure myself? Thanks”

I have read many negative comments about the air fryer and how effective it is. The first time I used it I used the tray that came with it. In my opinion, the tray defeats the air fryer's effectiveness becuz it blocks air flow to the bottom portion of the food. I used a different tray (a splatter screen) one with holes in it and the air fryer worked quite well. However, it does take longer than a stand alone air fryer unit does.
