Does this microwave also vent the gas stove null

The exhaust vent fan on the 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMV1762ST moves steam and other vapors from the cooktop surface of a range oven installed beneath the microwave oven. If the temperature from the range or cooktop below the oven gets too hot, the exhaust fan in the vent hood will automatically turn on at the HIGH setting to protect the microwave oven. It may stay on up to an hour to cool the oven. When this occurs, the Vent pad will not turn the fan off. You cannot turn the exhaust fan off during microwave cooking...^IFV
