• The LG 1.8 cu. Ft. Smart Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # MVEM1825X, has a charcoal filter that should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, and more often if necessary, if it is vented inside. You would have to remove the vent cover screw on the unit, open the oven door, hold both sides of the vent cover to remove the charcoal filter....^Ivan.
