- Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG 15 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (LBNC15231V) model. The LG LBNC15231V refrigerator needs specific space for installation. Here are the recommended clearances: - Leave 2 inches (50 mm) at the back, top, and sides. - Make sure there's at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) on the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) at the back for hoses, drain, and airflow. - Provide a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) of space all around the refrigerator. - Answer Perhaps LG can confirm this: does changing the swing side of the door invalidate the warranty? I was told by LG that it does.
