LG 14,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner 700 Sq. Ft - White, Model # LW1522IVSM, is equipped with a standard 120 V, 3-wire, grounding plug which must be plugged into a standard 120 V, 3-wire, grounding receptacle rated 15A / 120 VAC / 60Hz. The plug is commonly referred to as a "household" plug in the US, or a Type B plug. The only other 120 V plug used in the US is the Type A plug, which does not have a grounding pin and only has two vertical slots, and the plug on the air conditioner will not fit into a Type A receptacle...^Ivan.
