AS indicated in its header, the LG 18,000 BTU 230V Window-Mounted Air Conditioner with 12,000 BTU Supplemental Heat Function - White, Model # LW1823HR is a 230V unit so it must be plugged into a Standard 240 V, 3-wire grounding receptacle rated 20 A / 240 VAC / 60 Hz with a 6-20r NEMA configuration so the plug has a 6-20p NEMA configuration (i.e. one vertical blade, and one horizontal blade over a horseshoe-shaped grounding pin)...^Ivan.
