• Certain LG microwave models clock turns off to conserve energy. Only on while in use.

• By default it goes off for energy savings. It cannot be undone.

• Unfortunately this model doesn't do that. Just press the stop button and it will come back on or open the door. Hope this helps. Btw, usually only a stays on about 15 to 20 secs.
