• Just installed my microwave. Three prong plug is the connection.

• The LG 2.0 cu. ft. Over the Range Microwave in Stainless Steel with Sensor Cook, Model # LMV2031ST has a very short power cord that is located on the back of the unit on the same side that the control panel is on (i.e the right-hand side if standing in front of the unit). The Installation manual for this microwave recommends placing a DEDICATED 120V, 60Hz, AC only, 15 or 20A, fused electrical supply in the cabinet above the microwave as close as possible to the microwave) serving only the microwave. You can review page 3 of the Installation Manual that has an illustrated diagram showing the placement of the outlet.
