When the LG - 2.0 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless-Steel, Model # LMV2031ST is first plugged in or after a power failure, the display will show "PLEASE SET TIME OF DAY". Once the time is set, it stays on all the time and does not automatically disappear after 5 minutes...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if you have the energy saving setting turned on, the time will turn off when not in use. If the microwave is in use in any way (stovetop light on, vent on) the time will stay on until it is no longer in use, then time disappears after about 5 mins. You can change this by turning off the energy saving setting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is a LCRT2010ST
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for the responses. I chatted with LG and it was actually a defective keypad/circuit. LG came out the same week and replaced the keypad... and the time stays on now as intended!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My times leaves and it is annoying. I will have to get the book out to see if I can correct this. The LG stove right beneath seems to be able to keep the time lit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the display disappears after a few minuets. It is a little annoying but I just think it is a power saver.
