We understand you'd like to know if it's possible to pair the soundbar with a Sony TV remote for controlling the soundbar's volume. We recommend using an LG TV to pair with your Sound bar, but it is possible to control the soundbar’s volume using your Sony TV remote, but you’ll need to ensure the soundbar is properly connected via HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or optical cable. Once connected, the TV remote can be configured to control the soundbar's volume. Please refer to the owner's manual for detailed instructions on pairing your TV remote with the soundbar, specifically the "Exploring Remote Control" section on page 15.
