If it is a universal remote control or a learning or programmable remote control, you may be able to set it up so that it can control certain functions on the LG SL4Y 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar w/ Bluetooth Streaming. You will need to contact Xfinity to inquire what type of remote control you have and if it can be set tup to control other devices...^IFV
