“Does this model washer need / have / or come with a liquid detergent cup / insert? Where is the max fill line for liquid detergent? It seems to just "flow" right out of the main wash detergent compartment the minute you dump it in.”

The washer has a tray with three sections, Main Wash, pre-wash, and softener. Per the manual, liquid detergent or pods (pods really add to much detergent in my opinion) should be added to the drum before adding the clothes. If using pre-wash, then pre-wash and main wash would need to use powder detergent. If using liquid bleach would need to added to drum as well. For bleach when using tray, add OXI to main wash or pre-wash or both areas. It is suggested you use OXI for sanitary wash cycle. I am old fashion so I still use liquid bleach on dishtowels and white socks and white undershirts and I add to drum before adding clothes. I make my own powder detergent to save money.
