    • Answer Initially set the Refrigerator Control on the middle setting (number 3). ). Leave the refrigerator on this setting for 24 hours to reach the correct temperature. After 24 hours, adjust the compartment temperature as you desire. ALWAYS wait 24 hours before you adjust the temperature. If you want to set the refrigerator compartment temperature to a warmer temperature than the current, continue pressing the TEMPERATURE ADJUST button until it reaches the desired temperature.     • Answer Hello there, Alli. Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us. We understand your question about adjusting the shelves in your LTCS20020S refrigerator. To remove and adjust the tempered glass shelves in your refrigerator, we recommend following these simple steps: Empty the Shelf: Before attempting to move it, remove all items from the shelf you wish to adjust. Lift and Tilt: Gently tilt the front edge of the shelf up towards the ceiling. Pull Out: While tilted, lift the shelf straight up and then pull it out toward you. To reinstall the shelf at a new height, simply reverse the process: Guide the Hooks: Tilt the shelf up again and guide the shelf hooks (located on the back edge) into the desired set of slots on the back wall. Lower and Lock: Lower the front of the shelf so that the hooks drop completely into the slots.   • QuestionThe refrigerator was delivered yesterday. When plugged in, the light is on but it doesn’t appear to be cooling. It’s been about 12 hours and my groceries are warm and ice is melted. I set it up to max cooling. Is there another switch to turn it on?

A dirty condenser coil in a refrigerator can affect cooling. It can lead to increased energy bills, poor cooling performance, overheating of the fridge exterior, frequent or longer running cycles, and unusual noises. Dirty coils reduce the refrigerator's ability to transfer heat from the inside to the outside, resulting in higher internal temperatures and lower cooling efficiency. The dirt that collects on the coils causes the condenser to retain heat, making the compressor work harder...^Ivan.

  • QuestionI just had my LG 20020S refrigerator delivered today and I’m looking for the water inlet hook up on the back of the refrigerator for the ice maker I have ordered. Is there one and if not how do I go about putting in a water line to the ice maker?

    • Answer Hi there. The LG LTCS20020S Top Freezer Refrigerator does not come with a pre-installed water inlet hookup for the ice maker. However, if you have ordered the optional ice maker, you will need to connect a water line to the refrigerator manually. To do this based on the Owner's manual page 22, please ensure you have a 1/4-inch copper or PEX water line, a shutoff valve, and the necessary compression fittings. The water connection port is located at the back of the refrigerator. Before installation, flush the water line to remove any debris, and securely connect it to the refrigerator's water inlet valve.     • Answer Yes. The refrigerator has physical buttons to adjust the temperature. The freezer has a lever that you adjust to allow the passage of more or less cold air, which in my opinion, gives you a small amount of control over temperature.
