• Hi there, The shelves are tempered glass top. However the frames are plastic. ~Tanisha

• Frames are plastic and the glass is a little more flexible then I desire. I do have a gallon of pickles, milk and a few other items on the top shelf. Even with the milk and pickles placed on the other edges the glass is still bowing. Time will tell if this becomes an issue or not. So far so good.

• yes they sag very slightly with milk any 12 oz bottles ETC:
