The 2025 LG Magic Remote, Model # MR25GA, does not have a dedicated "Last Channel" or "Previous Channel" button. If you are connected to a Cable Set-top Box, that feature will be in the Guide Menu for the cable set-top box. The remote itself cannot be programmed to turn on a TV and a cable Set-Top box. That is a function of the TV. If your cable set-top box is connected to an HDMI input on a TV, and both the HDMI input on the TV and on the cable set-top box are HDMI - CEC compliant, that feature lets your devices communicate with each other over an HDMI cable, allowing you to use one remote for basic controls like power and volume. With HDMI - CEC, the cable set-top box will turn on or off when your turn the TV On/Off. Many modern cable set-top boxes (such as Xfinity X1 and Verizon Fios) support HDMI-CEC.
