We can deal with the water taste but the ice is awful. Our refrigerator is 3-4 months old. Called LG and they have never heard of such a problem. Yes I have changed water filters.

Check to make sure that the water filter is seated properly in the refrigerator. It might have been dislodged during transportation and if it is not seated properly, the water will not enter the filter for filtering. It will bypass the filter. Twist the filter firmly and slowly to ensure that it is fully locked in position. It might feel like you may be applying too much force that will break it, but it willnot break...^IFV
