“The specifications state that the freezer must be defrosted manually, yet in an answer to another question you state that "While it is not advertised as Frost Free, it does defrost automatically". Please explain the difference in the two answers.”

Both the refrigerator and freezer sections defrost automatically; however, clean both sections about once a month to prevent odors.
