• No, the middle drawer only refrigerates, but it has variable temperature choices.

• The way it was explained to me when I bought this fridge, is that it can be a "soft freeze" drawer or a deli type drawer. I use mine as a deli drawer.

• It has 4 custom temperatures from 29F-42F. We have used it for cold cuts, cheese, etc. it also can be used to chill wine or placement for cold drinks. You choose the temp according to how you would like to use it.
