QuestionWill a tall bottle (think Vodka) fit in the freezer? Can’t seem to find one to see in person.

- Answer Yes, There are 3 sections to the freezer... top pull out tray holds the ice maker with additional 18"W x 13"D x 5"H to the side of it. Middle pull out try dimension is 26-1/2""W x 14'1/2""D x 2"H (Pizza boxes or similar fit great here), and bottom section is approximately 27"W x 12-1/2"D x 10-1/2"H with a moveable divider.

QuestionThis refrigerator comes with dual ice makers. I know the ice maker in the door has filtered water. Does the 2nd ice maker have filtered water? If so where is the filter?

QuestionTwice all the ice in both refrigerator freezers has melted and there were no alarms. I believe the door was cracked open both times but the alarm did not sound. Is this the correct operation? The alarms do work when doors are wide open.

QuestionJust purchased. Happy so far, but.... Front door ice maker squeals loudly when dispensing & never really gets to full There is luckily ice #2, but that defeats the purpose of a dispenser Also trying to get in habit of physically closing other door.

- Answer The icemaker will stop squeaking and it does become full after the first week or so. I also did experience that the first week.

QuestionIs the exterior SS magnetic? What models from LG have Magnetic skins? I do not see this as a feature listed in Best Buy.

QuestionHow do the ice cubes get deposited into the container? Does the frig do this automatically or do we have to manually fill it? How does the frig know when to stop making ice?

- Answer Not sure if you have one or two ice makers. The ice maker I have in the door makes the ice and it is automatically deposited in the container in the door. Inside that container is a sensor arm which will pause making ice if the container gets too full. However, if you are going on vacation, or do not want ice for some reason,there is an on/off switch, clearly visible, you can use to turn it off. I have Model LRFXC2406/00, and have another ice maker in the top freezer drawer, this has a good-sized basket which holds the ice. Again there is an on/off switch, a little more difficult to see. It it placed above the basket...but you have to bend over to see it. Again , it is your responsibility to turn off. Still learning some of the nuances of this high tech refrigerator../I do not use some of its capabilities yet.

QuestionAs a follow up I am interested in if when any of the three doors are not completely closed (believe it was the bottom freezer compartment both times), if the refrigerator and freezers cooling completely shuts off to all locations.

- Answer Regardless of whether the freezer drawer or either of the refrigerator compartment doors on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 23.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Black Stainless Steel, Model # LRFXC2406D are not completely closed, cooling is not shut off to any location. If the doors or drawer are not completely closed, cold air will escape from the compartments and as it escapes, warm air is pulled in causing the temperature in the compartments to go up. As a result, the compressor will kick on to attempt to bring the temperature down to the set temperatures for each compartment. Depending on how much that temperature goes up, it may take the compressor longer to bring the temperature down so the compressor has to run for a longer period of time which will result in significantly higher electrical bills...^IFV

- Answer No. If it came out ice cold then it would be ice. It comes out chilled. Also... this fridge has 2 ice makers in it. It’s actually difficult to not have a cold beverages with this fridge in your home.

QuestionHow far in front of your cabinets does the door have to sit in order to open all the way? I’m concerned with the doors being so wide that I will lose the counter depth aspect and have to pull the fridge out some, if that makes sense. Thank you!

QuestionIs this one of your newer models? Compared to Model:LSFXC2476S and Model:LFXC24796S? When did this refrigerator come out? I haven't seen any other counter depth french door LG refrigerators with CoolGuard.

- Answer The LRFXC2406S is a 2019 released refrigerator. The LSFXC2476S was released in 2017 and the LFXC24796S was released at the end of 2016. ^CP

QuestionI need this to fit between a wall and pantry cabinet which is 38.5 in from the wall? Will it fit? Will its doors open? With its R side being against the wall, it can only be opened 90 degrees. Will that make bins/baskets unreachable?

Smart Wi-Fi Enabled French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator, Model # LRFXC2406S has a width of 35 3/4" and it has a width of 44 1/4" with the doors open 90˚ (includes the handles) That means you need a door edge clearance of 4 1/4" for either door to open 90˚. The drawers for the unit can be fully extended with the doors open 90˚, but you will need to open them wider if you need to remove the shelves for cleaning...^IFV

QuestionI had no problem with the fridge seeing my router when I tried to connect to the WiFi. When I try and install the app that I downloaded, it keeps asking me for a password. It does not say where and what this password is. How do I find out the password?

- Answer After selecting Refrigerator, follow the on-screen prompts to verify your appliance type. (Note: Certain prompts only apply to select refrigerators.) Once finished with appliance type verification, press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the Refrigerator for 3 seconds until the Wi-Fi LED light starts to blink. Press the “ >” button to continue. On your phone, go to settings and press Wi-Fi. On the list of options, select LG_Smart_Fridge. Note: If prompted for a password, enter the last 4 digits twice from the wi-fi name. Return to the SmartThinQ® app and press the “ >” button. On the next screen, press verify connection. Select the name of your wi-fi network to connect. (Please note: Only a 2.4 Ghz wi-fi connection is supported.) Enter the password for the wi-fi network you have chosen and press connect. QuestionWe are unable to adjust the nut on the left door to get the doors even. It seems like the nut is not threaded properly making it impossible to even up the doors. Very frustrating on a brand new refrigerator. Suggestions?

- Answer I had an issue. My frig came with a wrench and washers for door leveling. Need to open door to adjust. I had to adjust left door on mine bc too low and was not closing middle piece.
