“Has anything changed with the design of the linear compressor since last model from 2017? My friend had the 2017 version and had to have it replaced twice before it was replaced with something else. I like this model for the dual ice makers. Thanks.”

Hello Joanna. Most, if not all of our refrigerators use our Linear Compressors and any reported issues with the Liner Compressor was relegated to a few refrigerator models and did not affect all of our refrigerators. The issues would have been resolved at the time the issue was reported. We are not aware of any reported issues with regards to the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG cu. ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator, Model # LRFXC2406S. This is a 2019 model...^IFV
