QuestionWhat is the height without hinges and with feet retracted as much as they can be? Trying to determine if this will clear a 68 and 5/8 cabinet height at the back of the refrigerator. Thanks!!!

QuestionAre the whiskey ice cubes clear or clouded?

- Answer The "Craft Ice" ice maker makes ice balls, about the size of golf balls. It can be set to make them slowly (about 3/day) that are clear. If you want more ice, you can set it to make 6/day which are not clear. In my experience, they are not quite 100% clear on the clear setting, but very close. Maybe 95% clear with one edge a wee bit cloudy. On the more rapid setting, they are 60% clear, 40% cloudy.

- Answer Regrettably, LG does not divulge information on future plans for products. If there are any such plans for a refrigerator with an automatic refillable water pitcher, LG will either put of a press release announcing that or showcase the model at CES which is typically held in Las Vegas in the first two weeks on every year or at IFA in Berlin which is usually held in the first week of September...^IFV

QuestionMy fridge was just delivered and the guy said I need a fridge with 2 in doors rather than 3 which is why this fridge won’t open all the way to the wall. How do I know which of your fridges have 2 in doors rather than 3 in doors?

QuestionWhat height container can be placed in the freezer’s shallow drawer?

- Answer This has three drawers in the freezer. The big "bin" at the bottom, a white narrow drawer in the middle, and a clear drawer at the top that holds the ice-maker bin. The top clear drawer has a clearance of about 7.5". The middle white drawer is very narrow, just a hair over 2".

QuestionI am interested in this refrigerator because of 2 ice makers, because we use a lot of ice. Does the lower ice maker only make craft ice, or can it make regular ice cubes too?

- Answer The lower ice-maker only makes craft ice (i.e. the round balls). I am not sure if you can buy a regular ice-maker and replace it or not. With all the electronic controls, I would be hesitant.

- Answer You can toggle between 3 ICE mode and 6 ICE mode via the FREEZER button on the control panel. This is described in the manual starting at the bottom of page 27.

QuestionCan the Craft Ice system be turned off and the bin removed for more freezer space? If not, how big is the bin?

- Answer Yes, you can turn the craft ice maker off and remove the bin. Whatever you store there would need to be relatively low, because the ice maker hangs down about 4” from the top. The bin is around 8.75”wx12.75”lx4.75”h
