I just got mine 3 days ago, installed water filter, hooked up water supply, plugged fridge in turned on ice maker in door, ran water into 4 cup measuring out 3 or so gallons ( took a minute), waited approximately 18 hours for ice to start. Happy to report no problems. Cap off water filter insert and turn, no leaks no problem.
