To add a additional speaker to this tv you would need a sound bar with a optical cable any brand will work.

It does have an optical digital audio output (Toslink), so if you buy an amplifier, make sure it has an optical input. You can also connect it to a sound-bar. Keep in mind that the volume control for the amplifier or soundbar will not be controlled by the TV's remote. You'll have to use the volume control on the amp or soundbar. The same applies to driving headphones. It won't drive headphones without an external headphone amplifier. You can find one on-line for as little as $25.00 with an optical inputs, if you look around. You might want to buy a pair of headphones with an in-line volume control if you don't want to turn the volume up and down on the amp.
