• Yes to using red-white-yellow cables.. The video inputs are a bit odd because the yellow component video input jack is also used by one of the 3 red-green-blue inputs used red-green-blue-red-white cord. See https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-24LJ4840-WU for details. Fire Stick should be fine too because the TV also has an HDMI input.

• The LG HD 720p Smart LED TV - 24" Class (23.6" Diag), Model # 24LJ4840-WU has 2 x HDMI ports as well as a USB port for connecting external devices to. If your DVD player has composite cables you would need a converter to convert it to HDMI. ^CP
