• Model 24LM520S-WU does not have capability to download and install apps. ^Daphane

• You have to see what cable company let's you stream on what platform. I can do, xfinity and spectrum. Can't say LG has a stable platform vs Samsung. In the smaller size I needed for kitchen this only one that supports those apps. Roku would be a better option.
