“Will a Magic Remote work( fully functional) with this TV, including selection of streaming apps on screen? I've been reading that an LG TV must have bluetooth module inorder to work with the magic remote and the specs say TV is not bluetooth compatible.”

Streaming is easy and I am using a firestick with that remote, if that helps. I know google fiber too stated we can use our phones as a remote.

Model 24LM520S-WU does not have Bluetooth connectivity to support a Magic Remote. The LG 24 Inch Class HD Smart TV (23.6'' Diag), Model # 24LM520S-WU does not have an LG Content Store (App Store) feature on it so it doesn't have the capability to download and install apps. ^Daphane
