The TV does support the Xfinity beta app with a large comprise: Standard Definition channels only, at about 75% of the picture size (~17.5" diagonal instead of 23.5"....there will be ~2" black border). The HD channels are choppy and simply unusable, as some other reviews mention. It's sufficient, for example, in your kitchen if you're just listening to the news and multi-tasking. But not good if you actually would want to watch the program. There are not many 24" smart TV alternatives.
