• Yes. If I recall, the physical buttons are on the bottom of the TV. We've never had a reason to use them other than the power button though.

• No, the volume cannot be adjusted without the remote. There is a power button on the bottom that will allow you to turn the TV on/off and access the menu. ^Daphane
