• The manual says there may be a problem with pods or powder not dissolving properly. I just use liquid detergent and there is no problem.

• I haven't had this problem. As I say in my review. you really do need to use "Finish" for good drying, something I didn't have in my last machine, the Whirlpool that died after 8 years.
