• Yes, for installation you'll need to buy separately universal dishwasher install kit which includes the waterline hose and power cord if you choose to plug the unit into an outlet. There are a few other components in this kit but don't apply to this unit.

• The kit that comes with it has just about everything you will need to install it complete. I bought a separate "installation kit" and ended up taking it back for a refund because I didn't need it.
