“Why is the contrast ratio so low? I'm new to the UHD world but 100:1 seems horrific. The person I'm getting this for has poor eye sight and I think they need good contrast. I wanted UHD so I can get very crisp lines.”

HI Cara. You're absolutely correct that a contrast ratio of 100:1 is 'horrific'. Fortunately, the listed 100:1 Contrast Ration for this LG 24" Class 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor (24" Diagonal), Model # 24UD58-B is incorrect. It is listed as 'mega contrast ratio' on the company site which should read as 1,000,000:1 (as in Mega Millions when you play lotto)...^IFV
