Hey Andy! No, this dishwasher model (LDPH7972S) does not have an always on display feature. The hidden LED display counts down the remaining cycle time. When the dishwasher is not in use, the display disappears for a sleek look. ^Chris

You won't need it with the night dry option as it uses an internal fan to push moist air out the front of the unit.
