I had the same problem too after a few weeks of install. I find that gently pulling out the middle rack all the way out helps to reset the drawers and allowing it to slide all the way back so that I can close the door.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this same problem. One ball bearing fell out. It’s about two months old.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We are having the same issue. I called LG and they know its an issue. We are having our rack replaced next week. I'm wondering whether you had yours replaced and, if so, did it fix the problem?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there, Bob! We understand that you’re having trouble with the middle rack on your LDTH7972D dishwasher. If the rack is not sliding all the way back on the right side, it may be misaligned or obstructed. Please check for any items that could be blocking the rack's movement, inspect the rails for debris or damage, and try lifting the rack slightly while pushing it back to see if it aligns correctly. You may access this link related to your concern:https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dishwasher-tine-rack-adjustment--1366645531607. If the issue persists after these steps, please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport for further assistance. We’re here to help you get your dishwasher working properly! —Avril
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t get lg appliances
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The plastic bearing “keep” warps over time and jams against the openings, rivets and stop while moving the rack back into the dishwasher. The plastic appears to not hold up well to heat. Second replacement slide is on its way. I was able to temporarily fix the original rail by cutting away the warped end while waiting for the new one. Glad this is under warranty. The part is $100+ and appears to be subject to the same failure. Two failures in under 3 months. Should there be a recall or are these all lemons?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm on my 3rd LG QW DW. I cannot operate the middle rack without hurting myself and when it's aligned the tines make it difficult to load large glasses and coffee mugs. If I don't kind of shove the empty wrack back in or the door wont close. When loaded it bangs glass coffee mugs and large glass drink wear around, it takes forever to load it. I often need to do 2 loads to accommodate large cook wear, once the dishes, mugs and small glass bowls are clean and certain items are dried off in a dishrack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
