The LG 24x Write/24x Rewrite/24x Read CD - 8x Write DVD External USB 2.0 DVD-Writer Drive - Multi, Model # GP60NB50 is a Plug and Play device. Simply connect the external drive to a USB port on your PC, and Windows 11 will automatically detect the drive and install the necessary generic drivers. While Windows 11 will easily recognize the hardware, it no longer includes a native DVD movie player. You will need a third-party media player app (such as VLC Media Player) to watch DVD movies. If your PC/Laptop fails to detect the drive, you can manually locate the drive by navigating to Device Manager -> DVD/CD-ROM drives, right-clicking the device, and selecting Update driver...^Ivan.
