“Current height clearance is just a hair under 70" . The measurement lists this unit at 69 7/8" H which in theory would snuggly fit. Does that include the height of the hinge? It may not be recommended but is it OK for such a tight fit?”

Best Buy will come out and measure for you free to make sure all the measurements will work. That’s what we did. And then we bought it on the spot. Perhaps all Best Buy’s don’t have that service, but luckily ours does. Worth a call to find out.

Yes, this includes the hinge and the tallest part of the fridge, however, when I measured from floor to the tallest part, I got 69 5/8", so you should be good to go! I am really happy with my purchase.
