• There are switches in both ice makers. They work independently

• If you look above the bin on the ice maker itself, there is an on/off switch.

• Yes if you really bed down you can see an on/off switch right above the ice bucket to the right.

• The ice maker stops producing ice when the in-door ice bin is full. There is also a power switch on the ice maker to turn the ice maker off. • Each ice maker has its own on off switch. Similar to a light switch. I like it much better than the computerized on/off.
