“Installed yesterday at noon has not stopped running and is loud. Bought fridge because reviews said it’s quiet, will this improve? I was told to turn the ice maker on before bed last night. I turned it on at midnight and 7 hours later no ice.”

Ice takes about 24 hours. The fridge cools everything down slowly by zones. Once it hits ideal temp in the freezer which is around 0 it will make ice. Ours did it too. I was getting concerned. Once it starts it makes it fast. The tray in the freezer and in the door stays full. As far as the noise I haven’t noticed a lot of noise. I know it ran for a while to cool down though.

It immediately started making ice. I was told to throw away the ice made in the first 24 hours and I had to throw away a lot of ice after 12 hours. We use a lot of ice and have not run out of ice in the 2 weeks we've had it.
