“New Fridge has a bad plastic taste in the water and ice. old fridge had no taste. I have run 20 gallons through it. Best buy made me replace my old hose/tube. Is the problem the water line or the fridge? we drink a lot of water and this is unacceptable!”

Thanks to LG I learned that the hose that BestBuy supplied was the issue. I put my old Pex line back in as a replacement for the braided hose that BestBuy provided in the $30.00 install kit. Its fortunate that I went back behind the fridge to find the braided hose was leaking at the wall. this could easily have been water damage. Lesson learned. Have BestBuy deliver it but do the install yourself. I love this refrigerator and am so glad that it was an easy fix.
