A:AnswerThe ice plus function increases both ice-making and freezing capabilities. The function automatically shuts off after 24 hours. The alarm button, on the other hand, is used to activate the alarm function, which reminds you if the refrigerator or freezer door is left open for more than 60 seconds.
If both the Alarm and Ice Plus buttons are coming on by themselves, it could indicate a malfunction in the control panel or a temporary issue with the refrigerator's settings. Since you've taken action, including closing the door securely, this may be due to the door opening of the refrigerator. If you're still having issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via private message on Facebook or X at @LGUSSupport for further assistance. `Alice
A:AnswerOn ours it took about 24 hours for them both to get going. To be honest I cannot remember which one started making ice 1st. However, after 24 hours both the one in the door and the 1 in the freezer compartment started making ice.
