No, in fact that upper freezer drawer is where you have a large ice bucket for your extra ice. The ice maker in the door only stores enough ice for casual use. On ours, the freezer setting (controlled on the left front refrigerator door) is at zero F but the first freezer drawer is actually at minus 8 F degrees and the bottom freezer drawer is at minus 10 degrees F. The refrigerator on ours is set at 37 degrees F, but actually has some places at 34 degrees F. The refrigerator section does have a couple of drawers that you can set for either fruit or vegetable, but it is just a humidity control thing..
