Yes . when the ice compartment on the door is full the compartment can be removed then put that ice in a tray that's located on the first freezer drawer.

Ice Plus function increases ice making capabilities, 3.8 lbs. Press the Ice Plus button to illuminate the icon and activate the function for 24 hours.
