We understand you're wondering if the LG 27LQ625S-PU monitor operates similarly to your 24" Fire TV, which has built-in apps and works through Wi-Fi without cables. The LG 27LQ625S-PU is a monitor, and it does not have built-in apps or streaming capabilities like a smart TV. However, it does feature Wi-Fi mirroring (Screen Share), so you can mirror content from compatible devices (like a smartphone, tablet, or computer) to the monitor using Miracast or WiDi. You would need an external device (like a streaming stick or box, such as Amazon Fire TV or Roku) to access apps directly on the monitor. This monitor is great for connecting to external devices such as a laptop or desktop PC via HDMI or USB, and it offers additional features like a web browser and access to the LG Content Store for apps and games, but it is not a fully self-contained smart TV with built-in apps. https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27lq625s-pu-ips-monitor#pdp_specs Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport if you need help with setup or have any other questions! —Renzo
