“Does anyone know why lg 27 in tv will not recognize a Roku stick with Roku remote when you turn it on. I have to turn the tv off with Roku remote then turn it back on using same remote, no changes in settings, only thenwill it recognize Roku app .”

Theirs is a “hidden” answer to this. Before the geek squad tech left after installing on wall, I had them to program the tv to always used the Roku remote to turn on/off the tv. Don’t remember which remote they used to do this. I think it was the KG remote
