It is just a monitor, say an extended display. It doesn't have an inbuilt CPU to open google. You need a laptop or cpu.

We understand your inquiry regarding the necessity of a PC to use Google services. The 27U411A-B is a monitor, not a Smart TV or an all-in-one computer. It is primarily designed to function as a display device. To access web services, such as Google, you would need to connect the monitor to an external device that has internet and computing capabilities. This device could be a PC, a laptop, or a streaming device (like a Chromecast, Google TV, or similar external player) that plugs into the monitor's HDMI input. In summary, the monitor itself does not have the operating system or built-in browser to use Google independently; it requires a PC or a separate smart/streaming device to access those services. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-27-ips-fhd-120hz-monitor-with-hdr10-hdmi-black/JJ8VPZKPZ6 If you have any further questions about connecting external devices or optimizing your display settings, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to assist you further. —Renzo
