I'm using a MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) with this monitor via mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable over one of the Thunderbolt connections, running 4K@60Hz. I tried running via HDMI however my MacBook could only support 4K@30Hz, which wasn't a pleasant experience. Please see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206587 for a more complete list of Macs with 4K support.
