• I use it with a 2015 MacBook Pro. I cannot speak for other mac models, but this works fine.

• Yes! I am connected to my mid-2012 Macbook Pro via the provided HDMI cable, but newer Macs can connect via Thunderbolt 2 (aka Mini DisplayPort).

• If you want to run at 4K resolution, that will depend on the what type of Mac you have. I'm using a MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) with this monitor via mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable over one of the Thunderbolt connections, running 4K@60Hz. I tried running via HDMI however my MacBook could only support 4K@30Hz, which wasn't a pleasant experience. • Yes you can use it with your mac if you have an HDMI output on your mac.

If your computer can connect to those ports, it will work.
